I'm going to head to Home Depot here in a minute to look at paint colors. My husband's Mom and two sisters are coming down for Thanksgiving, and they're going to bring a couple of buckets of paint with them to paint "a room of our choice"! : ) The room we're going to have them paint is our bedroom. It's a mustard yellow color, and I don't particularly like it -- at all.
I was at the Fred Meyer store today, and I looked at some of the curtains they had for sale, and I liked the deep, velvety purple colors, so I'm thinking that we should get a color that would go with that. Perhaps a light gray or light purple or a light purple-ie gray color would work.
We won't be buying any curtains any time soon, but down the road, if we got them, then they would go nicely with the color on the wall. : )

We finally decided on a color, and I sure hope it turns out looking as good on the wall as it does on that little 2 x 2 inch square! : ) I'll let you know how it goes! "The Painting Crew" will be here the weekend before Thanksgiving. : )
