Just a bunch of info for my future reference...

What's on my mind???

Well -- I can't copy and paste from my Windows document. Grrrrrrr. Oh well. Water under the bridge.

In September, I went to Utah and visited Genie, Lynda, Carol, Lori, Janet and my parents, who were at the MTC. It was a great trip! Kyle helped me plan it by suggesting I use Outlook Calendar to schedule everything. That was a lifesaver.

Right now I'm kind of zoning, so forgive the lack of details!

While in Utah, I went to 2 football games, and helped collect tickets at the gate during one of them. Lynda also took me to see the broadway production of The Lion King.

I visited with my parents at the MTC. I walked through the MTC to their apartment, and the whole time, I was sure that someone would stop me and ask me to leave!

Lori's husband had just had back surgery (through his neck!), and her daughter was about to get married the next month.

Janet had a huge back yard! Wow. I've never seen such a big back yard! And she said that while she was away one weekend, some friends of hers planted a garden for her in her back yard without her knowing about it until she got back!

Genie's husband showed me the video he made with a band of a song he wrote! Very cool.

When I got back home, we went straight to a friend's house, and we watched their kids for a week. I'm glad it was un-eventful! No trips to the Emergency room or anything.

Current events:

My husband's going to be interviewing for a new position at his work soon. And my son will be interviewing for a job with Microsoft soon! : ) I hope they BOTH get the jobs!

Where Oh Where have I BEEN?!!! : )

THIS is what I've been doing over the last 6 months! : )

I made this "Quil-tomforter" for my son, who graduated from college last month! : )

I don't really know how to quilt, so it's not a quilt. I kinda-sorta just pieced it all together -- one piece on top of the other.

I think it turned out good! He requested the "Apple" design, since he liked Apple products, such as the iPhone, etc... : )

While we were gone to his graduation, our mailbox got accidentally ran-over! : ) But thankfully, the guy was a contractor, and he came back and repaired our mailbox with cement and a new post!! Yay! : )

Then, we flew to another state for an "Old-Time Piano Playing Contest" where my Dad competed. It was fun! We had a good time. My whole family was there. : )

When we were in one hotel, going up the escalator, the "down" escalator wasn't working, and my son quoted a comedian by saying, "It's not temporarily out of service -- it's temporarily STAIRS!" : ) I thought that was funny! : )
